The piece was commissioned by Principal Tubaplayer in Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, Frode Amundsen.

In February 2007 tuba players from all the professional orchestras
in Norway met at Manger Folk High School for a Tuba Symposium.

I organized the six part in two trios (one high part, one in the middel and one low part = 3 + 3).

Sérgio Carolino brought the piece to Portugal, and the ensemble How Low Can You Get have done several performances of the piece!
